FAQ for non-members

This is a compilation of frequently asked questions that TeeBAcademy has received from individuals who are not part of the academy. Please read carefully before commenting and make sure your questions have not already been answered below.

1) What is TeeBAcademy?

TeeBAcademy stands for Teegarden B Academy. It is an academy where different types of research and training are conducted by and for students and future scientists.

2) What is taught at TeeBAcademy?

The curriculum varies depending on the area or specialization, but, as a general rule, it mainly covers topics in Astronomy, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and Computer Science. The academy also offers extracurricular activities, such as creative writing, arts and crafts, and languages, among others.

3) How can one become part of the academy?

Currently, TeeBAcademy only recruits students locally. That is, only students from certain places and certain schools or other educational institutions who meet specific academic requirements are eligible to apply. The academy's location is confidential, and it is uncertain whether it will be open to a wider audience in the future.

4) Can I still access the study materials and scientific articles if I am not a member of the academy?

TeeBAcademy and its members are bound by a confidentiality agreement, so not all information can be shared with the general public. However, some of our students, researchers, and professors are working together to publish various courses and projects in the future, which will be shared on this blog and the academy's official communication channels. The launch date is still uncertain.

5) How can I contact TeeBAcademy if I have more questions?

Currently, TeeBAcademy does not have an official email address for non-members, as it would not be productive. This is because, given the confidentiality agreement, there are many questions we are unable to answer. Instead, if you wish, you can leave a comment on this post and any additional questions that can be answered will be added to the list or addressed by an authorized member.

Please do not use official TeeBAcademy email addresses or contact its members if you are not part of the academy.

  1. If so much of TeeBAcademy is confidential, why are there so many Youtube channels publicly sharing information. Surely using your own platform would have been safer?

    1. YouTube was one of the first platforms used by TeeBAcademy after its founding, so initially, activity there was much higher. After some time, the virtual campus was completed, and that has been our main platform ever since. That said, the academy will continue to use its YouTube accounts and this blog for non-sensitive content and news, as it does not intend to be completely secretive and their existence gives its students the opportunity to showcase their future work and projects to the general public.

    1. Hello, Antares here.

When TeeBAcademy’s main channels were new, they were being used to test some beta features (this includes the comments you’re referring to). These were later discontinued on Youtube and implemented on other platforms, such as TeeBAcademy’s own virtual campus and Discord community.

Thank you for your comment, and I hope this response was helpful.

    1. Not all news and information is shared on YouTube, as the main communication channels between students and authorities are private. That said, the academy was inoperative from mid-2023 to early 2025, which at the time resulted in a complete cessation of activity and communication across all platforms.

  5. What is with the theme of Teegarden's star, ascensionism etc. ?

    1. TeeBAcademy lets its students customize their profiles freely as long as they stay within the academy's rules, so there is no single answer as to why they choose one theme or another.

  6. Do you still collaborate with the Bellamira University?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yes and no. Bellamira was a project founded by professionals affiliated with TeeBAcademy. Originally, the school offered training in technology-related fields because TeeBAcademy did not include these programs. This led many TeeBAcademy students interested in technology to also enroll at Bellamira, and many Bellamira students interested in science to also enroll at TeeBAcademy simultaneously. For this reason, after some time, it was decided to merge both projects and integrate Bellamira's programs into TeeBAcademy, thus streamlining administrative and academic processes for both students and staff.

    1. Hi hi! TeeBAcadmy is aware that the academy has sparked interest among some people (the staff has received several emails and comments with various questions), this is why they decided to make this Q&A post.
